When visiting, please drive slowly in the parking lot. Upon entering the gate, all vehicles must come to a complete stop so the gate tender can record member arrival and guests (if any).  A Manager will affix parking sticker on the lower left corner of front windshield.  One sticker will be issued per name on the membership registration. 

A Manager will affix second sticker in the same manner after verifying member name on second registration (Maximum of two stickers per household. House guests or family members not living at home are not entitled to stickers.).  If a guest brings a car, host member must inform the gate tender who will provide the guest with a dated day pass which shall be placed on the vehicle’s dashboard.

Parents are responsible for their children. Please review the beach rules and the swim rules with them.

Wet or damp bathing suits damage the caned rocking chairs on the porch. Sitting on towels does not alleviate the problem. Please use chairs only when wearing dry attire.

The Beach closes promptly at either 5:00 pm or 7:00 pm depending on the opening/closing schedule. All cars must be removed from the parking lot at that time. Please report any issues/concerns to the Manager on duty.

The Directors of the beach and beach staff are not responsible for money, jewelry, or articles of value left in the bathhouses or on other Beach property.

The Directors of the beach and beach staff are not responsible for the safety of children or adults on the beach, in the water, or on the pier or rafts or on other beach property.

Help keep the beach safe:

• No glass containers for foods or beverages
• No smoking anywhere on beach property 
• No playing or running in bathhouses
• No climbing on the rocks; no throwing rocks 
• No running on the walkways
• No ball playing on the beach; ball playing and games are permitted on the back field
• No open fires. Grills are available to members. Please sign up on the bulletin board. The Manager and/or guards will set up the grill; members are not allowed to move the grills. Grills must be off 15 minutes prior to closing.
• No fishing within the float line
• No motor craft within the float line
• No pleasure boats of any kind allowed at the beach (small inflatables are allowed)

Help keep the beach clean:

• Deposit trash in the bins provided

Be considerate of others:

• Alcoholic consumption is permitted but we ask that discretion be observed. Alcoholic beverages should be in unmarked containers and should not be carried around the beach. 
• No offensive language, in deference to the many children and young people present at the beach
• No parties (gathering of persons which breaches the guest policy). Check this policy with the Manager if you are in doubt.
• No pets are allowed on the premises

• Obey the lifeguards. Heed their whistled warnings.
• No tubes, floats or boards on the pier
• Floats are permitted only halfway between the two rafts (n wavy/windy days, at the guards’ discretion)
• No running on the pier
• No jumping or diving off the pier
• No “hanging out” on the pier
• No swimming off or near the stairs
• No diving off the small raft
• No diving off the far raft
• No “rough play” on the rafts
• No swimming under the rafts
• No jumping off the rafts onto boards or tubes
• No swimming outside the floatline
• Swimming from a boat outside the float line to inside the float line is also prohibited 

• Host members (Anthony Beach Association Shareholders or Annual Members) may bring guests (a single person, a couple, or a family) two times per month. If member’s child brings a friend, it counts as a guest visit.
• Guests should be advised that they are entitled to a total of two visits only per month. Guests may not go to the beach two times with one member and then go again in the same month with another member.
• House guests (persons living in the host members home) are free to accompany the host at any time.  
• Children of members whose legal residence is no longer at home and who are not house guests, should be considered guests and are subject to policy #2 above.
• Rental of Anthony Beach Association members’ homes (or rooms in members’ homes) does not entitle tenants to beach use.
• All guests must be registered by the host member at the gate upon arrival. If gate is unattended, host member must register guests with the Beach Manager at the bathhouse.
